Meet Brittany Lothe
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, WILL’S WAY FOUNDATION
As Co-Founder of Will’s Way, Brittany drives vision, communication and operational excellence. Brittany has more than 20 years public and private sector experience holding various philanthropic, corporate communications, campaign and legislative roles. Since its founding 2014, Will’s Way has provided nearly 2,500 support grants to families through its extensive network of hospital partners and funded two innovative research projects with leading children’s hospitals. In 2016, Brittany was named a Pioneer for Children’s Health by Ashoka and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation for her work transforming the way kids grow up in the United States. She was also honored as a The Woodmark Children’s Forum 2015 Outstanding Philanthropists for her active involvement, commitment and passion to improve outcomes for parents and babies.
Meet Dr. Linda Franck
INSTITUTE FOR PATIENT & FAMILY-CENTERED CARE
Dr. Franck holds the Jack and Elaine Koehn Endowed Chair in Pediatric Nursing at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Nursing and is the Co-Principal Investigator – California, for the UCSF Preterm Birth Initiative. Dr. Franck has extensive experience in leading interdisciplinary teams to conduct clinical research to improve the quality and safety of hospital care for infants and children. She has a particular interest in improving the patient and family experience of health care and has pioneered interventions to engage parents and children as partners in pain management and in research to improve quality of care and quality of life for children and their families. Dr. Franck’s current work focuses on reducing disparities in health and health care access for women at risk for preterm birth and on improving care and outcomes for preterm infants.
